Re: Best 1/8 buggy?????? I own 2 Cen Matrix buggies. A RTR and a FRE Pro version. I got into the hobby a couple of years ago and the Cen Matrix RTR was my first car. Their are several reasons why I recommend Cen products.
1.) Affordability. If you shop around, you can find a Cen Matrix Factory Race Edition Pro Kit for around $350.00-$450.00. Try to find another manufacturer that sells a pro kit in this price range. 2.) Durability. Still being somewhat new I have taken some pretty bad spills/crashes with my Matrix and it has always come back for more. It is extremely well built and parts are readily available. especially now that A Main hobbies and Tower Hobbies are carrying the Cen line. 3.) Customer Service. Cen Customer Service is second to none. They have threads in all the major forums so you can go on and ask or search for an answer to your question. They also have their own forum and they are really good aboud responding to questions or problems on the forums. They have set-ups posted on their website so you can set your buggy up and take it to the track then fine tune it to your driving style. This is very beneficial to the noobie. Also this is probably one of the few companies that if you call them, you will actually speak to a live person. All in all, dollar for dollar, the Cen Matrix is one of the best buggies out there. |

Re: Best 1/8 buggy?????? I have had experience with many buggies. IMO the best is the Mugen MBX5R. A close second would be the new Xray.
I also have a CEN and it is a great buggy dollar for dollar. Tree..I see you are close to me. I am in Riverside.. Small world. |
